Eat like a local. Immerse yourself in the local dining scene, Hoi An style. Kicking off as the sun sets, guests ride pillion on a vintage Vespa along the river, through alleyways and in the busy streets around this ancient heritage town, tasting some of the best local dishes and street food on offer. All food & drink included. Please bring a healthy appetite! Starting out at our central Hoi An café, we sample the delicious local street food delight that is Banh Can while watching the streets & stalls come to life and sipping a cocktail. After our first taster, we head out on the Vespas to try the famous local ‘White Rose’ and wontons in town. We then go over to Cam Nam Island and join the locals for a seafood starter overlooking the Thu Bon River as the sun sets on Hoi An & enjoy a few cold beers. After this, we then drive along the banks of the river and through the alleyways & streets to a lively local restaurant where we cook our own hotpot at the table and learn the art of wrap ‘n’ roll – Vietnamese style! A short ride through the busy streets and alleys takes us to our last port of call, and a recent addition to Hoi An’s vibrant dining scene, a modern Vietnamese restaurant nestled in the rice paddy fields, where we tuck into some awesome BBQ specialities, char grilled DIY style at our table! As is customary, cold beers are consumed, and we finish with the delicious dessert of Banh Flan, a light version of crème caramel.
